Goals and Philosophy
CEO and founder Chris Rawlings has always known he wanted to build his own business; he never even considered finding a job working for someone else. So, he sat down and wrote out a business plan for a staffing agency in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Through the years, he’s had wins and losses, and one of the biggest lessons he has learned along the way is to never underestimate the power technology can play in keeping up with an industry.
Even among temp service agencies, technology has changed everything. Ten years ago, paper applications and newspaper ads brought in quality talent, but now, finding the best employees is a moving target. That’s why we stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry standards.
We’re one of the first agencies capable of filling employment orders anywhere in the U.S. through virtual staffing. As more and more industries move away from brick-and-mortar systems, we’re well positioned for the future our partners will need.

Many startups don’t even make it to five years, but we are still going strong and even growing. This is thanks, in large part, to Rawlings’ choice to expand the company through acquisitions. But unlike many companies, the Prime Group doesn’t immediately rebrand and ruin the equity newly-acquired companies have built up within their communities. We allow our recruitment service companies to keep their names and identities, diversifying the parent company while keeping the integrity of our acquisitions. Our biggest strength, however, is in the talent and expertise of our staff. The staff tenure at the Prime Group is triple the industry average and the culture is highly collaborative. Helping men and women find great jobs and careers is what keeps our employees excited and dedicated to the process.

When asked what his biggest piece of advice would be for other entrepreneurs, Rawlings responded, “Prepare for change, and leadership is a moving target. Don’t ever think you have it figured out. Don’t ever think you are smarter than everyone else. Too many times, I thought I had it all figured out and no one else did only to be proven wrong on both accounts.” And his values for the company? Simple: Always strive to be better than the day before.
